Time for a change

When Your Space Holds You Back.

Maybe your equipment has outgrown the shop, storage is eating into your workspace, or your facility wasn’t designed for the work you’re doing today. You know something needs to change, but you’ve already got a business to run.

That’s where Steel Bolt Construction comes in.
We build around the needs of your business, with the space and layout to keep your operation moving. And because Steel Bolt is part of Zander P. Lee’s general contracting operation, we bring the crew, trusted trades, and know-how to take your project from site preparation through the finished building.

Steel Building Features

Made to Work Hard.

Wide-Open Interiors

Clear-span steel framing creates large, unobstructed interiors for equipment, inventory, and operations. We’ll plan the dimensions and layout around your needs, whether it’s a warehouse, service shop, or heavy equipment facility.

Easy In. Easy Out.

Oversized doors, loading areas, vehicle clearances, and maneuvering space all make a difference. We’ll consider how trucks, equipment, and people move through your facility so everything can get where it needs to go.

Equipped for the Job

From electrical systems and ventilation to heating, insulation, offices, and finished interiors, your building can be equipped for the job at hand. We’ll coordinate the details that turn a steel structure into a functional facility.

A Professional Finish

Your building’s appearance matters, too. Custom siding, rooflines, windows, and entrances can create a look that suits your business. For even more design flexibility, wood-and-steel hybrid construction opens up endless possibilities.

Experience you can build on

Good People.
Solid Work.

A commercial steel building takes more than a good set of plans. After 25+ years in general contracting, we’ve built lasting relationships with skilled subcontractors, suppliers, and specialists who know their trades. When a project calls for the right people, we know who to bring on the job.

SEE IT IN ACTION

Featured Project

A custom commercial steel building with the space, access, and features to support this business’s daily operations.

The possibilities are pretty broad. Warehouses, equipment garages, service shops, dealerships, industrial facilities, and more. Steel is particularly useful when you need large, open interiors, tall ceilings, or access for oversized vehicles and machinery. And because the layout, exterior, and interior can all be customized, you’re not limited to a basic metal warehouse.

Yes. Steel Bolt is part of Zander P. Lee’s general contracting operation, so we’re equipped to manage the larger construction project, not just erect the steel frame. That includes coordinating the site work, foundations, utilities, insulation, and other trades required for the buildings we construct. You won’t need to find and manage a separate contractor for every part of the job.

They certainly can be. Proper insulation, ventilation, and heating and cooling systems make a big difference in a building’s energy performance. Steel also has environmental advantages, including its recyclability and the recycled material used in structural steel production. The American Institute of Steel Construction has more information about those benefits.

There’s no reliable one-size-fits-all price. The building’s dimensions are only part of the equation. Site conditions, foundations, engineering, doors, utilities, and interior finishes all affect the cost. We’ll talk through what you have in mind and what the project will require so you can make an informed decision about the investment.

Pre-engineered steel systems can speed up parts of construction, but the overall schedule depends on the project. Permits, engineering, site preparation, material availability, and interior work all play a role. A straightforward equipment building and a fully finished commercial facility won’t have the same timeline. We’ll discuss what’s realistic once we know the scope.

No. If you already have plans, great! If you’re still figuring out the size, layout, or even the best location on your property, we can start there. Tell us what you’re trying to accomplish, what equipment or operations the building needs to accommodate, and any ideas you have. We’ll help identify the next steps.

Your Next Chapter

You’ve Worked Hard to Get Here.

You’ve put years into building your business. Your next facility should reflect where you’ve come from and where you’re headed. Whether it’s a new headquarters, a larger shop, or a specialized building for a new venture, this is an opportunity to invest in what comes next.

Big projects come with big questions. You might have a clear vision or just know it’s time for a change. Either way, we’re ready to talk through your ideas, the practical considerations, and what it will take to turn them into a building.
